Does the jobThe quality of the FCO is great! My only complaint is that it is difficult to drip the oil out, and causes some waste. It has a tendency to dribble down the spout and then the side of the bottle, getting everything oily (and staining the label). I can reduce the amount of mess/oil loss by quickly flip it over and immediately squeezing it into a vial. There's still some drippage, but not as much. So this makes counting drops impossible. I've had to pour it into a dropper bottle and dispense from there to gain any control. This is the only reason I will be trying another comparably-priced brand.I love coconut oil as a base carrier for my essential oils. Purchasing fractionated coconut oil instead of virgin coconut oil can be a smart choice for the following reasons:-most obviously, it stays in liquid form-it is less oily, and thus better for skincare because it has less of a tendency to clog the pores-has more Capric and Caprylic acids and so has more anti-inflammatory and disinfectant qualities-it pours out, so its easier to keep the unused amount pure and uncontaminated-it has a very subdued scent, so it won't compete with your added essential oilsI found the quality of this product to be superb and I am very pleased with my purchase. Overall, I recommend this!Mixes well with essential oils, but is oily and moisturizing so takes a bit to soak in if you are putting it on your hands or body. I like using it in a foot bath mixed with oils and warm water because it feels really moisturizing. Don't like it as much in a spray bottle with essential oils that I use in yoga class or at home or work because I have to rub my hands for a while until it soaks in. Different than other oils like my vegetable oil in that way.This is the 3rd time in a year that I have ordered oil from Plant Guru and it has arrived leaking. After a further investigation the internal white seal was broken and the lid was not on tight, causing the product to leak. Luckily they ship it in a plastic bag so the mess was contained and did not ruin my other items in the box. The oil itself is a good quality which is why I gave 3 of 5 stars. ATTENTION PLANT GURU: Do something about your seals or you will be losing a customer.Excellent stuff. I normally can't tolerate oil nor lotions on my skin because they make me feel clammy and suffocated, but I find this product light enough to put on both skin and hair without weighing anything down or without being too oily or gummy. Even better is that it is odorless, because I don't like my hair/skin smelling like coconut oil. And a little bit goes a long way. I will be ordering this for years to come!I love Plant Gurus products but this one leaked during shipment and was all over the box and the bottle. It was strange because it was in another bag that looked like it was torn. The seal on top was not glued on so it leaked.I have had good experiences with Plant Guru in the past, but I recently bought a 16 ounce bottle of coconut oil and it arrived with the lid not screwed on all the way. Needless to say, it was a BIG mess and I lost some oil because of this ?
